SSCS (Southampton Supporters' Club of Scandinavia) were founded in 1990 in Ålesund on the Norwegian west coast by Endre Kaurin and his friends. Later it was based in South Norway, in Kolbjørnsvik when Kristian Lier was the driving force behind the club. From 1995 Trygve Aspelien was running it from Vikersund and later Oslo. From 2005 the supporters club changed its name to Southampton Supporters' club of Norway and there were more people involved in SSCN, most of them living in or close to Oslo,

The internetpages of the Scandinavian Saints were first created in 1997. Those pages, were however very simple and seldom updated. The pages were on an university server, and those were the days when Dave Currie was running the official Saints page for Southampton University and all the people on Saintslist knew each other.The new SSCS pages came in November 2003, and in the christmas the domain www.southampton.no was registered, where you now are reading.

From 2005 the Supporters club only exist on internet and the Paper fanzine St.Mary's is no longer published.
